HistoryAn escapee from his Clan, Dolcain was raised in Gridania by his two adoptive mothers. As a result of losses very early in life, Dolcain joined the Order of the Twin Adders when he turned sixteen, serving right through the battle of Carteneau nearly fourteen years later. On the recommendation of a superior officer, Dolcain left Gridania for Sharlayan, where he studied traditional medicine in the hopes of providing healthcare to those who may not be able to afford it.However, his former life is one he has struggled to stay away from, and he finds himself taking up mercenary work to scratch an old itch.

Hello! My name is Hovabear, and I play Dolcain. Here I would just like to lay out a few small boundaries that I have for roleplay, and would appreciate being maintained.- Please do not approach with only the desire to romance or ERP with the catboy. Story is the only thing I'm looking for.- Please recognize that I am not my character.- OOC is more important than than IC. I have a family, and little ones may require tending to at times that may be inconvenient. I will make sure to convey that before I step away, but please be patient with me.

I just started Roleplaying in April of 2024, after being forcibly dragged to a social event by a friend already deep into the community. Needless to say it stuck, and it remains my primary creative outlet to this day. I have a few alts but Dolcain remains the nearest and dearest to my heart, with well over 8000 hours just on the Keeper alone.
